Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith is a legal professional with extensive experience in technology and media law. Daniel began a career as an Associate Solicitor at Hogan Lovells from August 2010 to October 2012, specializing in the Technology, Media and Telecoms group. Following this, Daniel joined Google, where roles included Associate Legal Counsel from November 2012 to November 2015 and Senior Counsel, managing the Cloud Legal team supporting various business initiatives across the UK, Sub-Saharan Africa, and EMEA until January 2022. Daniel's education includes an LLB in Law from Cardiff University and the LPC from BPP Law School, complemented by academic achievements from Sydney Grammar School and Royal Grammar School, Guildford.
