Daniel Swingle

Daniel Swingle has extensive experience in security and loss prevention, beginning with a laborer position in the Water Department of the City of Gahanna from July 2003 to September 2006. Afterward, Daniel worked at Kroger as a District Loss Prevention Investigator and Loss Prevention Specialist from September 2007 to March 2015. Following this, Daniel served at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium from September 2017 to December 2022, advancing through roles including Director of Safety and Security, Security Manager, and Security Operations Supervisor. Daniel's military background includes service as a Platoon Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from October 2004 to November 2015. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Data Center Security Manager at Google, starting in December 2022. Academically, Daniel earned an Associate’s Degree in Arts from Columbus State Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from The Ohio State University.
