Daniel Wei possesses extensive experience in software algorithm engineering and network architecture design. At Juniper Networks, from July 2001 to June 2010, Daniel excelled as a Senior Software Algorithm Engineer, achieving significant performance improvements in data plane optimizations and protocol stack development. Notable innovations include enhancing cache algorithms and optimizing the RDMA protocol stack. Currently serving as the Google Cloud Global Network Infrastructure Engineer Lead since June 2018, Daniel leads the design and optimization of backbone network architectures, successfully reducing network latency and enhancing bandwidth utilization in the Asia-Pacific region. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Computational Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
