Dave Urness

Dave Urness is an experienced product manager and software engineer with a strong background in innovative technologies and product development. At MIT Media Lab, Dave focused on Central Bank Digital Currencies to foster financial inclusion while currently serving as a Product Manager at Google. Previous roles include a teaching assistantship under Professor Gary Gensler in crypto finance, where expertise in software defined networking was developed at Arista Networks. Additional experience includes positions at Waymo as Group Product Manager and McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
