David Escubio

David Escubio has extensive experience in cybersecurity, having held various engineering and analyst positions in prominent technology companies. Starting as an Antivirus Engineer and Network Threat Researcher at Trend Micro from November 2006 to May 2012, David then worked at Symantec as a Threat Analysis Engineer and Security Response Engineer from March 2014 to December 2014. David continued to advance in the field at Mandiant, now part of Google Cloud, as a Principal Security Analyst from October 2021 to November 2022, followed by a role as Principal Security Analyst at Google starting in November 2022. Prior to Mandiant, David served as Principal Security Analyst and Senior Security Analyst at FireEye, Inc. from January 2021 to October 2021. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
