David French

David French is an experienced security professional with a strong background in threat hunting, detection engineering, and information security analysis. At Twilio, from March 2022 to September 2023, David built and led the company's threat hunting capability to proactively identify security threats. Prior to this role, David was a Senior Security Research Engineer at Elastic, where responsibilities included developing detections for various platforms and enhancing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. David's extensive career also includes positions as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Capital Group, where processes for threat hunting and incident response were developed and implemented, and roles in threat research and IT specialist capacities at Endgame and Frontier Economics, respectively. Currently, David serves as a Staff Adoption Engineer for Security at Google Cloud, following the acquisition of Endgame by Elastic. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in IT Security from Western Governors University.
