David Friedl

David Friedl is an experienced product manager and entrepreneur with a diverse background in technology and business development. As Co-Founder and Product Lead at Liist from September 2019 to August 2022, David helped develop a consumer travel app, which was later acquired by Google. David has held various roles including Business Development positions at MAS Consult AG and Homebell, and experience in trauma surgery at Chirurgische Klinik München-Bogenhausen. David also worked at Daimler AG in autonomous driving and had a stint in strategic procurement at Siemens. Currently, David is a Product Manager at Google, focusing on Gemini / Maps and Google Labs, where the role involves creating innovative consumer products using advanced AI technologies. David holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Concordia University, along with a certification in Full Stack Web Development from Le Wagon.
