David German has extensive experience in software engineering, having held various positions at prominent organizations. At Toyota Research Institute, David served as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Staff Software Engineer. David contributed to Draper Laboratory as a Member of Technical Staff I and II from June 2008 to January 2010. At Google, David progressed from Software Engineer II to Senior Staff Software Engineer between August 2011 and April 2024. Prior to these roles, David completed a software engineering internship at Boeing in 2006-2007. David holds a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College, where enrollment occurred from 2004 to 2008, following education at Thomas Jefferson School from 1999 to 2004.
