David Pezenik has a diverse and extensive background in psychotherapy and education. David served as Clinical Coordinator in the Outpatient Day Treatment Department at Regent Hospital from 1992 to 1994, and held multiple academic positions as a Visiting Lecturer at NYU and an Adjunct Professor at SUNY and The New School / Mannes College of Music between 1993 and 2005. As a practicing psychotherapist since June 1992, David operates a private practice and has also been an On-site Psychotherapist for Google since January 2011. David has been a special advisor at CRATE since December 2019, and previously contributed as a Staff Psychotherapist at the Miller Institute for Performing Artists at Roosevelt Hospital from 1992 to 1996. In addition, David was a board member for the Mt. Sinai Musicians Health and Wellness Institute from 1996 to 1998. Education includes private study with Stephen Mitchell in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy from 1993 to 1997.
