David Yip

David Yip has extensive experience in account management and strategic negotiation within the technology sector, having held positions at Microsoft and Google. At Microsoft, David Yip served as an Xbox Global Account Manager in the Global Games Publishing Group from June 2011 to August 2016, where responsibilities included supporting third-party gaming partners and overseeing various aspects of game publishing and localization for the Asia Pacific region. Following this, David Yip worked as a Licensing Executive, leading through-partner licensing deals for Microsoft’s Azure, Office, and Dynamics in Asia to drive cloud revenue growth. Transitioning to Google, David Yip held multiple roles, including Cloud Commercial Manager and Strategic Negotiator for Google Cloud, focusing on deal management across the US and the JAPAC regions. David Yip is a candidate for an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with prior education from Northeastern University.
