Debargha Mukherjee

Debargha Mukherjee is a Principal Engineer at Google, where they are currently responsible for video codec research and development. Prior to joining Google in 2010, Debargha worked at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories from 1999 to 2003 as a Research Scientist and later as a Senior Research Scientist. They hold an MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Debargha is also recognized as an IEEE Fellow.
