Deepak Nettem

Deepak Nettem is a seasoned software engineer with significant experience in cloud computing and distributed systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead at Google since February 2018, Deepak contributes to projects involving Google BigQuery, Retail Demand AI, and Retail Recommendations AI, focusing on analytics and automated recommendations in GCP Cloud AI. Prior experience at Microsoft includes roles as a Software Engineer and Research Software Development Engineer, where Deepak worked on Azure CosmosDB, Project Adam for deep learning infrastructure, and Azure storage solutions, significantly enhancing database consistency and performance. Deepak's early career includes impactful projects at Wipro Technologies and a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Science, complemented by a Master’s degree from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s degree from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
