Devon Swezey

Senior Manager, Global Energy and Climate

Devon Swezey has extensive experience in energy policy and project development, having held significant roles at various organizations. As a Senior Lead for Global Energy Markets and Policy at Google, Devon spearheaded initiatives related to the European renewable energy portfolio and led efforts for the 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy program. Prior to Google, Devon served as a Senior Manager at First Solar, overseeing project development strategies in multiple states and in Mexico, and worked as a Desk Officer at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focusing on clean technology funds. Other notable positions include internships at Advanced Energy Economy and Taylor-DeJongh, as well as leadership roles at the Breakthrough Institute where Devon directed programs related to energy and climate, and economic growth and innovation. Devon holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and an M.A. in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
