Dheeraj Shetty is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in Android development and telecommunications. Dheeraj worked at Qualcomm from November 2016 to November 2018, holding the positions of Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included developing a telematics SDK for telematics control units, and Android Developer, contributing features to the Android Telephony IMS service and telephony frameworks within the Android open source project. Dheeraj began as an engineer interim intern focused on Android app development for test automation. Currently, Dheeraj is working as a Software Engineer at Google since January 2025. Dheeraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PESIT, Bangalore, obtained in 2011, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, completed in 2013.
