Di Wang has extensive experience in software engineering, specializing in distributed storage systems and filesystems. From April 2001 to July 2012, Di Wang held senior software engineering roles at Mountain View Data, Cluster File Systems, Sun Microsystems, and Whamcloud, Inc., contributing to significant advancements in filesystem functionality and performance, including work on the Lustre filesystem and cluster architectures. Following stints at Oracle and Intel Corporation, focused on cloud and distributed storage systems, Di Wang currently serves as a Software Engineer at Google, working on Parallelstore/DAOS in Google Cloud Platform. Di Wang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Beihang University (1994-2001).
