Di Yao

Di Yao possesses extensive legal expertise, having held significant roles such as Inhouse Counsel Committee Chair and currently Legal Committee Chair at The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, where responsibilities include addressing legal issues and regulatory developments. As Vice Chairman of the Board at Shanghai International Studies University and Adjunct Lecturer, Di Yao contributes to academia by bridging legal practice and education. Previous positions include Director of the Stanford Alumni Association's Shanghai Chapter, Counsel for GoPro, and Head of Legal and Business Development for APAC at Google. Di Yao's legal career also includes a visiting role at Jaguar Land Rover, managing China IP matters, and experience at King & Wood Mallesons as a Managing Associate. Educational qualifications range from degrees at prestigious institutions, including Harvard Kennedy School, Stanford Law School, and Peking University, strengthening a foundation in law and cybersecurity policy.
