Dilip Krishnan

Dilip Krishnan is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google, with a career marked by a focus on research in artificial intelligence and machine learning since January 2018. Prior to this role, Dilip served as a Staff Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at Google, as well as a Research Scientist from November 2014 to December 2016. Dilip's extensive experience includes consulting on deep learning methodologies at MADBITS, a postdoctoral fellowship at MIT, and significant contributions to image and video processing software in various engineering management roles. As a co-founder and CTO of Nirvana Digital, Dilip played a critical role in developing automated algorithms for digital film restoration. Dilip's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from New York University, along with advanced degrees in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Additionally, Dilip is an active angel investor and advisor for several AI and autonomous driving startups.
