Don Darling

Don Darling is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they have focused on various projects since 2020, including the Matter initiative. Previously, they served as a Staff Technical Solution Engineer for Stadia, leading the launch of Google’s first AAA cloud gaming service and mentoring team members. Before joining Google, Don worked at Amazon Lab126 as a Senior Software Development Engineer, contributing to the launch of the Amazon Fire TV and Stream. They began their career at Texas Instruments, developing software for embedded applications and code generation tools, and served as a Teaching Assistant at Michigan Technological University. Don holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University.
