Doug Jacobsen

Doug Jacobsen possesses extensive experience in high-performance computing and software engineering. Currently serving as an HPC Software Engineer at Google since November 2020, Doug has previously held the position of Software Application Engineer at Intel Corporation from October 2016 to November 2020. Prior to this, Doug worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where roles included Staff Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate from August 2011 to October 2016. Doug earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Science from Florida State University between 2007 and 2011 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computational Physics from Oregon State University, completed in 2007.
