Douglas Aberdeen

Douglas Aberdeen is a Principal Engineer at Google, currently working in the Zurich office. They have contributed to the development of the Gmail Priority Inbox and are involved in enhancing search ads quality. Previously, Douglas worked as a Senior Researcher at National ICT Australia, focusing on machine learning, reinforcement learning, and probabilistic planning, while also promoting science education in high schools. Douglas earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Australian National University and holds undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Melbourne.
