Dr. Gregory Richards is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence. From June 2012 to April 2020, Dr. Richards served as Chief Data Scientist and AI Systems Architect at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included leading technical efforts related to responsible AI. Following a postdoctoral position at Kent State University from June 2010 to June 2012, Dr. Richards joined Google in September 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer focused on performance, accelerators, and machine learning modeling. In August 2023, Dr. Richards advanced to the role of Chief Software Architect for TF-Sim. Dr. Richards holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics obtained from Kent State University between 2003 and 2010.
