Drew Wingard

Drew Wingard is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in semiconductor architecture and design. Currently serving as Director of Tools, AI, Methodology, and Infrastructure for Cloud silicon at Google since June 2025, Wingard supports global teams to enhance chip development for various platforms. Prior roles include Director of SoC Architecture at Meta, where Wingard led a team to define and implement SoCs for augmented reality devices, and Director of SoC Enablement, expanding design capabilities and managing significant teams. Wingard also served as Director of Silicon Methodology at Facebook, focusing on technologies for AR/VR integrated circuits, and co-founded Sonics, Inc., where responsibilities included leading product roadmaps and innovative networking techniques for semiconductor IP. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, along with a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
