From 2016 to 2018, McDermott served as an Enterprise Business Development Consultant at Rackspace before transitioning to Enterprise Business Manager at HyperGrid. Following this role, McDermott held the position of Account Director Enterprise Commercial at NetApp Cloud Solutions until 2021, and is currently the Enterprise Sales Lead at Google.
