Eeshan Gupta

Eeshan Gupta has extensive experience in artificial intelligence and software engineering, with a strong academic background in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. As the Artificial Intelligence Team Head at Kharagpur Robosoccer Students Group, Eeshan led efforts to develop autonomous humanoids for soccer at RoboCup, focusing on high-level strategies using AI. Participation in the Google Summer of Code with NumFOCUS involved work on root finding and global optimization for the Julia programming language. A Scientific Computing Internship at Julia Computing, Inc. included developing a clinical trial simulator. Eeshan further enhanced skills during a Summer Research Internship at USC Viterbi School of Engineering by applying Generative Adversarial Networks to solve complex inverse problems in physics. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Google since July 2021.
