Elka Mao

Elka Mao is a data analyst with experience in the mobile gaming and technology sectors. At Tilting Point from March 2018 to July 2019, Elka optimized the ETL process by building aggregated tables for KPI reports using SQL, achieving an 80% improvement in efficiency. Since August 2019, Elka has been working at Google as an Analyst in Trust & Safety Ads. Prior experience includes a Payment Insight Internship at Auriemma Group, which involved developing a Mobile Pay User Segmentation project utilizing R, K-means clustering, and PCA, along with creating an interactive web app for data visualization. Elka holds a Bachelor of Management in Agricultural Economics and Management from Renmin University of China, an exchange degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen, and a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Method in the Social Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
