Elliott Kau

Elliott Kau is a dedicated computer science professional with experience in software engineering and machine learning. With internships at NASA Ames Research Center, Zoom, and Stanford University School of Medicine, Elliott has developed expertise in full-stack engineering, backend testing, and machine learning theory. Current research focuses on low sensitivity bias in transformer models under the guidance of Prof. Vatsal Sharan, with a pending publication in ICML. Elliott has served as a Course Producer at the University of Southern California, providing support in data structures and object-oriented design, and has recently joined Google as a Software Engineer on the YouTube Shorts Consumption Team. Elliott holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Elliott achieved a notable GPA from Gunn High School.
