Elsie Ling is a highly skilled software engineer with a diverse range of experience in the tech industry. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University, Elsie held multiple roles as an undergraduate teaching assistant. Elsie completed a software engineering internship at Microsoft working on the Azure Identity Platform and then served as a technology summer analyst at Société Générale. Following that, Elsie joined Google where initial responsibilities included software engineering and later progressed to senior software engineer, focusing on privacy and policy data processing infrastructure. Currently, Elsie is enabling developers to build with generative AI at Google while also contributing as a Google.org Fellow, serving as a backend engineer for an open-source wildfire resilience planning tool.
