Emeka Arene

Emeka Arene is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in large-scale software systems, currently working at Google on the Google Maps Platform, where responsibilities include creating tooling, infrastructure, and development kits for both first-party and third-party developers. Emeka's career began at Oracle, contributing to the Solaris Operating System Team and leading projects such as the Software Test Cycle of the Database Accelerator Co-Processor. Additionally, Emeka has held internship positions at Benefitter and The Veloz Group, and served as a Student Library Assistant at the California Institute of Technology, where a Bachelor of Science was earned, followed by a Master’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
