Emily Chen

Emily Chen is an accomplished undergraduate researcher and software engineer with a strong background in artificial intelligence and computer science. Experience includes a position at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) where Emily conducted research on interactive object segmentation algorithms using robotic manipulation techniques and point cloud processing. Prior to CSAIL, roles at MITRE involved refining synthetic data, training machine learning models for computer vision, and exploring machine learning for signal modulation classification. Additionally, experience as a software engineer intern at Flatiron Health was followed by a current role as a software engineer at Google. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, complemented by a solid educational foundation from Andover High School.
