Enming Luo is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, focusing on image understanding since June 2021. Previously, Enming served as a Staff Research Scientist at Facebook from April 2016 to June 2021, where expertise in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and image processing was applied to address large-scale real-world challenges. Prior experiences include summer internships at InterDigital Communications and CISCO, where significant contributions included the implementation and optimization of an adaptive video denoising filter. Enming's foundational work as a Research Fellow & Engineer at ASTRI involved research and development for future multimedia standards and next-generation video coding. Enming holds a Ph.D. in signal, image and video processing, computer vision, and machine learning from UC San Diego and a Master of Philosophy in Electronic and Computer Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
