Eric Jäger

Data Analyst

Eric Jäger has extensive experience in data science and quantitative research across various industries, including finance, insurance, and academia. Jäger began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich, focusing on data mining and land-climate interactions while supervising graduate students. Following this, Jäger worked at swissQuant Group AG as a Master Student, conducting style analysis of hedge fund portfolios and implementing quantitative tools. A significant tenure as a Quantitative Researcher at IMC Trading involved statistical arbitrage trading, automated trading research, and machine learning-based strategy development. Jäger later served as a Senior Data Scientist at Credit Suisse, developing machine learning models and data-driven insights for banking products. Currently, Jäger is a Data Analyst at Google. Jäger holds a PhD in Climate Modeling from ETH Zürich, a Master's in Applied Statistics from ETH Zürich, and a Master's in Physical Geography from the University of Zurich.
