Eric Zaiser

Eric Zaiser is an experienced legal professional specializing in patent law, with a career spanning more than two decades. Zaiser began as a co-op student and technical advisor at Dority & Manning, P.A., where patent issues were analyzed and support was provided in patent prosecution. Following this role, Zaiser served as an associate focusing on patent prosecution and litigation support, along with advising on copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters. Zaiser continued in a similar capacity at Kilpatrick Stockton, handling patent prosecution and litigation in the electrical and software fields. Currently, as Senior Patent Counsel at Google, Zaiser advises executives on intellectual property strategy and manages patent portfolios for significant sectors such as GSuite, Google Cloud, and Quantum Computing. Zaiser holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Clemson University and a JD in Law, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
