Eric Zhang

Eric Zhang is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and big data systems. Currently serving as Engineering Director and Founding Member at Singdata since May 2021, Eric leads a team focused on integrating artificial intelligence and large language models with big data systems. Previously, Eric held positions such as Staff Software Engineer at ByteDance, where responsibilities included migrating TikTok's models to Google TPUs, and as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, working on Azure Big Data and Distributed Storage. Eric also contributed as a Staff Engineer and Tech Lead at Alibaba Group, focusing on optimization of computation platforms and recommendation systems. Eric's qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science from Fudan University and a master's degree in computer science with a specialization in distributed systems from Peking University.
