Erol Peköz

Erol Peköz is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of operations research and statistics. Erol has held significant positions including Visiting Professor of Statistics at Harvard University and Visiting Scholar at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, Erol serves as Professor and Department Chair of the Operations and Technology Management Department at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, while also working as a Senior Staff Data Scientist Manager at Google since May 2022. Erol's industry experience includes a tenure as Chief Scientist at HIAI Capital from 2019 to 2022. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Operations Research from Cornell University and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively, where Erol also earned a Master of Science in Operations Research.
