Essence Cain

Essence Cain is a skilled software engineer currently working at Google in the Android and Google Play Store division since September 2022, after previously holding roles as a Software Engineer at the same company. Essence has contributed significantly to user interface improvements and product integrations that enhance user experience across Google platforms. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Black Angel Group, as well as various internships and fellowships at Google, where notable achievements include launching a UI update for Google Lens and creating a prototype web server for the redesigned Google Play user interface. Essence is also a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and has participated in professional development programs focused on leadership and diversity in technology.
