Eve Andersson

Senior Director, Product Inclusion, Equity & Accessibility at Google

Eve Andersson is the Senior Director of Product Inclusion, Equity & Accessibility at Google. Eve is responsible for accessibility across Google, and has worked to build the central accessibility organization and hire hundreds of people across the company to transform accessibility from a grass-roots effort into a sustainable, innovative, company-wide effort.

Andersson leads a team of software engineers who innovate to create new things to help people with disabilities. The team is mostly focused on the Android platform. In addition to their work with product teams, they also collaborate with outside organizations through partnerships within the industry and advocacy organizations, giving research grants to universities that are doing interesting things in the area of accessibility, and public speaking.

Eve also formerly built up similar structures for Google's Inclusive AI efforts and handed them off.

Eve Andersson has a BS in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech, an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley. Eve also attended Garfield High School.
