Fang Zhang

Software Engineer

Fang Zhang is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing high-performance data solutions. At Levyx, Inc., Fang served as a Senior Software Engineer and contributed to the creation of the Levyx Spark-Xenon connector and Kafka-Xenon Sink connector, significantly enhancing the performance of large-scale Spark applications. Following a stint as a Software Engineering Intern at MFour Mobile Research, Fang led the development of a big data platform utilizing AWS Glue and designed numerous data pipelines. Early career experience includes a role as a Staff Seismic Image Analyst at CGG Oil & Gas Services, where Fang developed models for seismic data processing. Currently, Fang is a Software Engineer at Google. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, a Master's in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Peking University, along with a Master's of Science in Mathematics from the Chinese Academy of Science.
