Farhang Kassaei

Farhang Kassaei serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Google Store since August 2022, following a tenure as Chief Technology Officer at Wish from June 2021 to August 2022. Previously, Kassaei held several senior positions at Google from December 2014 to June 2021, including Senior Director of Software Engineering overseeing various projects such as Google Shopping Ads and Commerce Logistics. Prior engineering leadership positions included roles at eBay as Senior Director of Engineering and Chief Architect in the Marketplaces division. Kassaei began a career in technology and software development with roles at NextEngine and as Co-Founder and CTO of TouchService, also managing software engineering at Ellie Mae, Inc. Kassaei holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science from Sharif University of Technology.
