Federico Tombari is currently the Research Director at Google and a Lecturer at TU Munich. They completed their Ph.D. and served as a Post-Doc and Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna. Federico gained experience as a Consultant and Intern at Willow Garage before co-founding and becoming the CEO of Pointu3D GmbH in 2018. They held roles as a Senior Research Scientist and Lecturer at Technical University Munich from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they have been a Senior Scientist at Open Perception since 2012 and progressed through various research positions at Google from 2019 to the present.
