Fei Deng

Fei Deng possesses a diverse background in engineering and research, with significant experience at esteemed institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As a Postdoc Research Fellow at Harvard University from September 2013 to July 2016, Fei conducted research on 3rd body generated friction and multi-phase flow transport in porous media. Fei served as a Research Associate at MIT, focusing on theoretical modeling and experimental research related to chemo-mechanical nanocomposites. In the role of Interpretation Development Engineer at Schlumberger from January 2012 to April 2013, contributions were made in geomechanics algorithm development and interpretation. Presently, Fei is positioned as a Software Engineer at Google since November 2021. Earlier experience includes application support and testing roles at MathWorks, design engineering internship at Nokia, and a solid foundation in mechanics with a PhD from Tsinghua University, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Economics from Peking University.
