Fergus Henderson

Fergus Henderson has a robust background in software engineering, with significant experience spanning multiple organizations. At Google since August 2006, Fergus holds the title of Staff Software Engineer, positioning three levels below renowned engineers Rob Pike and Ken Thompson, and is among the top 10% of engineers at Google. Prior to this role, Fergus served as Senior Technical Staff at Galois from March 2004 to July 2006 and worked as a Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne from September 1996 to February 2004. Fergus began the professional career as a Programmer at Frontier Software from April 1988 to February 1992. Fergus’s educational background includes extensive study at the University of Melbourne from 1989 to 2004 and participation in an accelerated program at University High School in Victoria, Australia, from 1984 to 1987.
