Fernando Cruz is the Head of Education Marketing and Public Sector Executive Programs at Google Cloud, where they focus on creating accessible learning experiences. A proud Mexican immigrant, they have a diverse background as a tutor, startup founder, and strategy consultant, driven by a passion for education technology and equitable platforms. Fernando graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. They have also completed prestigious fellowships with Management Leadership for Tomorrow and University Innovation Fellows, furthering their commitment to underrepresented talent in STEM. Prior to their current role, Fernando led EdTech industry marketing initiatives at Google Cloud, building significant relationships across various educational sectors.
