Flora Cheng

Flora Cheng, P.E., possesses extensive experience in civil engineering and project management across various sectors. Flora began a career as a Graduate Civil Engineer at URS Corp, focusing on construction design and water infrastructure projects. Progressing to a Project Civil Engineer, Flora specialized in water resources engineering and treatment plant optimization. Subsequently, Flora served as a Project Manager at Project Management Advisors, Inc. and SAIC, leading teams in planning and executing large-scale construction and environmental projects for clients such as Chevron. At Google, Flora advanced to roles of increasing responsibility, including Program Manager for Cloud Reliability and Google Fiber, ultimately becoming a Senior Program Manager at YouTube, where Flora drives critical projects to enhance user experience and app performance. Flora holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
