Francis

Francis Ma is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product leadership and engineering, currently serving as Sr. Director of Product & Engineering at Google for Developers since May 2011. Previously, Francis led the Firebase business and a portfolio of over 20 cloud services and developer tools at Google Cloud. Prior roles include Director & Head of Product at Firebase and Sr. Product Manager for Android / Google Play services, where significant contributions included overseeing APIs and SDKs used by millions of apps. Before joining Google, Francis co-founded and served as CEO of Chatroll, a SaaS platform for interactive live events, and held engineering leadership positions at Amazon, where initiatives included natural language processing and real-time transaction systems. A Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering was obtained from the University of Waterloo.
