Frank Chen

Frank Chen has over a decade of experience in the technology sector, specializing in optical systems and imaging technology. Starting as a Research Assistant at 中央研究院, Frank built precision scientific instruments before joining Lite-On Semiconductor Corp. as an Algorithm Engineer, where algorithm development for optical touch and sensor technologies was a primary focus. Transitioning to Bosch Security Systems, Frank served as a System Engineer, leading projects in camera optics and sensor manufacturing. After a brief tenure as an Assistant Manager at Liteon, Frank joined Google in 2017 as a Camera Engineer, contributing to notable products like Google Nest, Pixelbook, and Pixel phones. Frank holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from National Taiwan University, obtained between 2001 and 2007.
