Fred Hersch

Fred Hersch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare technology and digital health solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Google since September 2018, Fred focuses on developing tools to enhance data-driven healthcare, particularly utilizing FHIR standards. Fred is also involved with Africa Health Ventures as a member of the Investment Advisory Committee, contributing to the investment in early-stage startups in Africa. Additionally, Fred holds advisory roles with Praava Health, the World Health Organization, and Imperial College London. Previous positions include Head of Product and Chief Medical Officer at Telenor Health and Clinical Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health. Fred's academic credentials include degrees in medicine and public health from the University of Sydney and leadership training from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
