Gagan Goel is currently the Lead for Mechanism Design in the SearchAds group at Google, overseeing a team focused on connecting users' commercial intent with advertisers. Previously, Gagan was a Research Scientist at Google, contributing to the core optimization team of Google Ad Exchange, where they significantly grew revenue and secured multiple patents. Gagan co-founded and served as CEO of FloCare, a company funded by Accel Partners that aimed to support field-based healthcare workers, before returning to Google. With a Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Gagan has a strong academic foundation to complement extensive professional experience.
