Ganesh Pai

Ganesh Pai, PhD, has extensive research experience in the field of human factors, with a focus on innovative methodologies and tools. At the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Ganesh served as a Research Assistant from January 2017 to May 2023, leading various research projects utilizing simulators, eye trackers, and VR technology, while collaborating with reputable organizations such as the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety and US DOT. Currently, Ganesh holds the position of UX Researcher II at Google and is also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Colorado State University since April 2024. Prior to these roles, Ganesh gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Intern at FTL Labs Corporation in 2016, working on applications for the Unity game engine. Ganesh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Human Factors specialization and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NMAM Institute of Technology.
