Ganesh Sankarakumar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Display & Video 360 (DV360) at Google since October 2015, Ganesh has driven significant initiatives in media unification and ROI enhancement for advertisers. Prior to Google, a lengthy tenure at Microsoft from November 2000 to October 2015 included progressively responsible roles, culminating in Group Engineering Manager, where Ganesh led the development of Bing API and core infrastructure for improved search features. Earlier experience includes positions at Novell and an internship at Daimler Chrysler Research Center India. Ganesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
