Gary Butter

Gary Butter has over two decades of experience in the legal field, specializing in patent law. From 1990 to 1998, Gary served as an attorney and partner at Baker Botts LLP. Following this role, Gary held positions at Google Inc., starting as Patent Counsel from 2012 to 2020 and progressing to Senior Patent Counsel in November 2020. Additionally, Gary contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn Law School from 1998 to 2017.
